Mikael Eliasen Voice Program

Do you want to be a professional singer?

Learn what it really takes to embark on an opera career. This program, led by the artistic director of the Curtis Opera Theatre, Mikael Eliasen, is designed primarily for young singers considering entering conservatory, and is open to students of high school and undergraduate age.

Singers in this select program pursue activities focused on vocal artistry, surrounded by elite faculty from Curtis’s renowned vocal studies department.

Young Artist Summer Program

This three-week intensive program for advanced high school and college-age students launches musicians into new levels of personal artistry. Curtis's first summer festival of its kind, musicians from around the world benefit from comprehensive programming of private instruction, chamber ensemble, seminars, and master classes. Divisions include openings for composers, conductors, orchestral instrumentalists, and pianists.

Elizabeth Hainen Harp Colony

Harpists looking for a rigorous program will benefit from an intensive week of orchestral training through mock audition, master classes with Elizabeth Hainen, Curtis faculty and principal harp of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and harp ensemble with Nancy Lendrim, culminating in a performance in the final concert. Whether looking to enter competitions or merely seeking a greater knowledge of the repertoire, students will benefit from a full exploration of harp literature.
